The Gila Instructional Consortium
   
 

The Gila Instructional Consortium (GIC) is a voluntary consortium of public school districts in southwestern New Mexico that have organized for the purpose of enhancing regional secondary and post secondary educational opportunities. Through the GIC, high school students, educators, and residents of this rural, geographically remote area can take college courses through Western New Mexico University.
