COOPERATIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM
What is Cooperative Education?
The WNMU Cooperative Education Program, or what is commonly referred to as "Co-op," provides students with a unique opportunity to combine real work experience with their academic studies. Co-op students work as paid professionals in positions that are degree and career related. Co-op allows students to "try out" a field and gain relevant work experience, as well as college credit. (Students can earn up to 6 elective credit hours).

Who Qualifies for Co-op?
WNMU Students who:
| Are making significant progress towards a degree at WNMU. | |
| Have completed at least 24 hours of undergraduate credit. | |
| Are enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program and are in good academic standing: undergraduate students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5; graduate students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. |
