Brenda Burton - Adjunct Faculty
M.S. in Criminal Justice, University of Central Missouri
Brenda Burton earned an M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri. She was a Special Agent with the FBI for over nine years, specializing in white collar crime. She was also a media spokesperson for the FBI during most of her career. |

B. Scott Burton - Adjunct Faculty
M.S. in Criminal Justice, University of Central Missouri
Scott has 27 years experience with the criminal justice system. He is currently the Facility Director and Warden for a GEO Group, Inc., 112 bed community-based facility in Las Vegas, NV. In 2011, he retired from the federal system after 25 years of combined service with U.S. Probation and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He previously was a member of the State of New Mexico's Adult Parole Board. |

William Corbett, J.D. - Adjunct Faculty
William Corbett has a J.D. degree from the University of Illinois and worked as a civil litigator in California for 13 years. He began teaching college in 2001. He instructs in the areas of law, criminal justice, and government at NMSU and other institutions, and serves as a facilitator/mediator in civil litigation in cases filed with the Third Judicial District of New Mexico. |

Kevin Daugherty is Director of the Criminal Justice Program at Central New Mexico Community College. He previously served twenty years in the Air Force Judge Advocate General Corp. |

Joseph J. Kolb - Adjunct Faculty
Joseph J. Kolb is a veteran journalist who is a regular contributor to FoxNews.com. His area of specialty and interest is U.S.-Mexico Border issues and criminal justice. He has also been published in the Albuquerque Journal, Americas Quarterly, Catholic News Service, The Crime Report, The Global Intelligence, and the New York Times. He is a former Guggenheim fellow at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the French-American Foundation. Mr. Kolb brings this knowledge and experience to Western New Mexico University to provide the perspective of the criminal justice system through the eyes of a journalist.

William (Bill) Kuehl - Adjunct Faculty
Bill Kuehl has taught in New Mexico higher education institutions since 1983. Bill holds a master of criminal justice and a B.S. in administration of criminal justice from WNMU.He is currently a tenured faculty and Criminal Justice Program director at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell and has been back at WNMU as online faculty since 2006. |

David Long - Adjunct Faculty
David Long has been an instructor at WNMU for over five years. He is a retired sergeant with the Houston Police Department, Special Operations Division,. Part of his duties included being supervisor for the Special Response Group, an 850 member volunteer group that was trained to manage all large scale events that occurred within the city of Houston. He has 30 years of law enforcement experience and holds a B.S. in Business and Economics/Criminal Justice and a Masters degree in Criminal Justice Management. |

Leeanna M. Rossi - Adjunct Faculty
Leeanna Rossi introduced the Criminal Justice course to the Deming branch 11 years ago. She has been teaching at WNMU for 11 years. Her professional background is in the Law and Criminal Justice. She has written and taught 11 inovative and hands-on courses in various aspects of Criminal Justice all these years. She served 7 years in the US Navy and is a well respected member of our community. |
