ACCREDITATION

Western New Mexico University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by the New Mexico State Board of Education.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association. ACOTE presented a Certificate of Accreditation in 2009 for a period of 10 years to the Occupational Therapy Program at Western New Mexico University.
