Occupational Therapy

Admission

 

The first semester of the Program is through Provisional Admission.  For a student to be eligible for Provisional Admission he/she

 

1.     must place into or have completed English 101,

2.     be eligible to enroll in Biology 254 (see prerequisites for BIOL 254) and

3.     have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.7. 

 

Full Admission is granted when the student completes all the courses required in the first semester of the OTA program with a GPA of 2.7 or greater.  Upon completion of the WNMU program, the student earns an Associate of Science degree and is eligible to complete the process for professional certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
