What Makes Life Worth Living

So many things make my life worth living. I live each day for my family, friends, and myself. Each of these things is very important to me because they make me who I am. They make my life worth living.

My family is very important to me because they are a part of me and I love them. My husband has been a part of my life for twenty years, and he has become my best friend. He is very humorous and enjoyable. I very much enjoy being his wife. My kids are also a big part of my life. I have a daughter who is eighteen, a son who is thirteen, and another daughter who is eleven. They make each day a little hectic, but I still love the fact that they need me and I need them. We spend a lot of fun time together, and with everyday I get to watch each one of them grow up. Being a mom is one of the best things in my life. My parents are also very important to me. They have made me who I am, and I appreciate all they have ever done for me. I also have an older brother who is significant to me. He is the only sibling that I have, and I miss him very much because he lives in South Korea on an Air Force Base.

My friends are very important to me because I can talk to them. They help me with my problems, and we can share things with each other that are not so easy to share with others. My high school friends from Safford, Arizona and I are still very close and still share all the wonderful memories we made. They made my teenage years worth while. I also have new friends that I have made from moving to Grant County and they also are great friends. They have been just as good friends as the ones I have known longer, plus we have the chance to make new memories for the future. We have gathering when we can, and then we are able to get a break from the chores of our daily lives. Although we love our families, sometimes we need to relieve some stress by talking and laughing together. This is never a bad thing.

Last, I live my life for me. I am very proud of the way my life has turned out. I would not change anything. I have been taking college courses to receive an associate’s degree for my job at Cobre High School daycare center. This has not been easy, but I am looking forward to the end and its rewards. I feel I have done my very best in all I have ever done, and that is what counts.

All of these things make my life worth living. I know my family loves me and my friends too. I have earned all I have for my self and I feel proud of what I have accomplished. I know in the future there will be many more things that will make my life worth living. This is only the beginning.
