The Department of Natural Sciences at Western New Mexico University is pleased to offer the Nancy & Jerry Strickling Scholarship to an outstanding high school student who wishes to study biology at Western New Mexico University.
This scholarship will be awarded to a first-time freshman who intends to major in one of the disciplines in the Biology Program. The scholarship covers tuition and fees and is renewable for up to 4 years as long as the student makes adequate progress towards completion of their biology degree.
Applications should be submitted to the WNMU Foundation Office using the form available on the Foundation web-site (http://www.wnmu.edu/admin/foundation/). Applicants should indicate in a cover letter that they are applying for the Strickling Scholarship and should include two letters of reference from teachers or counselors.
Application Deadline: April 15 Awards will be announced: May 10
