(Green Pigweed, Smooth Amaranth)

Status: Exotic


Amaranthus hybridus is an erect annual pigweed with flowers subtended by spine-tipped bracts. The panicles of flowers can be either axillary or terminal. The stems can be reddish while the flowers are green.
