Status: Not listed as Exotic by Allred, but considered introduced from the Old World
and now widely distributed by Martin & Hutchins
Synonyms:
None
Asparagus officinale has escaped from cultivation. It is highly branched
with linear leaves when taller and mature. When young, it is thick with scale like leaves.
