Cymopterus lemmonii is a small plant with highly dissected leaves with linear lobes.
The compact umbels have a curious regional color distribution in the Gila Wilderness. They are bright
red in the Burro Mtns., and very yellow in the northern portions of the Gila. The tips of the petals
are turned in at the tip giving them a rather characteristic appearance.
