Dennstaedtiaceae (Dennstaedtia Family)
The Dennstaedtiaceae are only represented by one taxon in the Gila National Forest, Pteridium aquilinum. It is the tallest fern in most habitats here, although Athyrium felix-femina can be taller in moist environments and good conditions. The sori are marginal.
