Gaillardia pulchella Fougeroux
(Indian Blanket, Firewheel)
Gaillardia neomexicana A. Nelson
Gaillardia pulchella is similar to Gaillardia pinnatifida except that Gaillarida
pulchella has beautiful red inside the yellow on the rays. Both are herbs that rarely exceed
about 50cm in height. They are found along roadsides and in town. Gaillardia pulchella is an
annual, while the very similar Gaillardia aristata is a perennial.
