Laennecia sophiifolia is an erect 2-4 foot tall herbaceous plant arising from a single stemmed base, but with a many branched panicle-like inflorescence. Laennecia sophiifolia was photographed at middle elevation on a dry and rocky two-track in the Mogollons.
