Family: Fabaceae

Status: Native

Synonyms:

Lupinus micensis M.E. Jones
Lupinus orcuttii S. Watson

Lupinus concinnus is short-statured herb that nonetheless has a stem, unlike Lupinus brevicaulis. The flowers of Lupinus concinnus form an elongate raceme, rather than the subcapitate cluster characteristic of Lupinus brevicaulis. Both are annuals with flowers marked with purple and white. The pod Lupinus concinnus is 10-18mm long, while that of Lupinus brevicaulis is about 10mm.
