Mentha canadensis Linnaeus
(Canada Mint)


Family: Lamiaceae

Status: Native

Synonyms:
None (although NM specimens previously thought to be M. arvensis (Linnaeus))

Mentha canadensis is an erect herb with serrate, lanceolate leaves. The small flowers are pink in whorls around the nodes. Mentha canadensis is found near water at middle elevations.
