(Pine Muhly)

Family: Poaceae

Status: Native

Muhlenbergia acuminata Vasey

Muhlenbergia dubia is a large clump grass that is very similar to Deergrass, Muhlenbergia rigens, with which it overlaps in habitat. Muhlenbergia dubia has glumes that are less than 2/3 of the length of the floret. The glumes in Muhlenbergia rigens are almost as long as the florets. Awns in Muhlenbergia dubia are very short or absent.
