Status: Native

Synonyms:
Clinopodium vulgare Linnaeus

Satureja vulgaris has flowers with pink, bilabiate corollas. The calyces have ciliate teeth. The flowers occur in terminal clusters and sessile in clusters in leaf axils. Satureja vulgaris if found in gravelly streambeds at upper elevation.
