Synonyms:
Solanum stoloniferum Gray ex Torrey

Solanum stoloniferum is a small herb with purple flowers and pubescent, pinnately divided leaves. It is found at higher elevations in moist areas. Solanum jamesii is similar and also has compound leaves, but Solanum jamesii has white flowers.
