Sparganiaceae (Bur Reed Family)
The Sparganiaceae are aquatic perennial plants that grow from rhizomes. The leaves are the same size and shape
as cattails, long and thin. The pistillate flowers are clustered in dense spherical heads, with female heads below the
male ones.
