Themidaceae (Brodiaea Family)
Themidaceae are perennial herbs from corms. The flowers usually
have 3 petals and sepals. The leaves have parallel veins. From a taxonomic standpoint, Allred recognizes the Themidaceae; however the APG II system does not, although it does
allow it to be separated from the Asparagaceae where it would otherwise apparently belong.
