Chenopodiaceae (Goosefoot Family)
The Chenopodiaceae have inconspicuous, small flowers with no petals. These "weedy" plants grow in
disturbed places. The fruit is a nutlet. Chenopodiaceae are well represented and common in the west. They
can be challenging to identify correctly.
