Clusiaceae
(Mangosteen Family)


The Clusiaceae have stem clasping, broad based leaves. The flowers are regular and have more than ten stamens, with anthers opening in longitudinal slits. Only one genus-- Hypericum-- is represented in the Gila National Forest. Most members of the Clusiaceae are tropical.
