Evolvulus sericeus Swartz var. discolor (Bentham) Gray
Evolvulus wilcoxianus House

Evolvulus sericeus var. sericeus is a spreading plant with narrowly lanceolate and highly pubescent foliage. In the past, two varieties were recognized in our area: var. discolor with white flowers, and var. sericeus with purple flowers. The two varieties are now both recognized as Evolvulus sericeus var. sericeus.
