Heuchera novomexicana has spreading dark green leaves on long petioles. The leaves are lobed and crenate or irregularly coarsely dentate. The central portion of the leaf is tinged with purple. The long flowering scape is bears bright white flowers. Heuchera novomexicana is found near middle elevation seeps in rocks.
