Juniperus scopulorum Sargent
(Rocky Mountain Juniper)

Status: Native

Synonyms:
Juniperus virginiana Linnaeus var. scopulorum (Sargent) Lemmon

Juniperus scopulorum is found in the central area of the Gila National Forest. It is most easily recognized by the drooping appearance of the ends of the branches. It looks like the "Weeping Willow" of Junipers.
