Nama dichotomum is a prostrate hairy herb with solitary flowers. The pinkish purple corolla tube has a whitish center. This member of Hydrophyllaceae can be confusing, since it does not have the more usual scorpioid cyme found with most Phacelias. Nama dichotomum is found in sand in dry creekbeds.
