Populus angustifolia James
(Narrow Leaved Cottonwood)

Family: Salicaceae

Status: Native

Synonyms:
None

Populus angustifolia is a tree with mostly lanceolate and serrulate leaves. Other than its leaves, it is similar to the more familiar Fremont's Cottonwood, Populus fremontii. Both grow in moist canyons and creekbeds at middle elevation.
