Status: Native

Synonyms:
None

Ribes aureum is found at middle to upper elevations, as are all the Grossulariaceae. The palmately divided leaves are blunt tipped and without fine serrulations. The ripe fruit is bright red. Ribes aureum is not armed and grows as a shrub.
