(American Black Nightshade)

Synonyms:

Solanum interius Rydberg
Solanum ptychanthum Dunal

Solanum nigrum is a branched annual with sinuate leaves. The corolla is white and the berries are black. It is found at lower elevations on the roadside and dry disturbed areas.
