School Psychology Licensure Program

School Psychology Licensure

Following the guidelines set forth by the New Mexico Public Education department, the WNMU School of Education provides coursework and field experience opportunities for the student who wishes to pursue this licensure.

The sixty hour Licensure program includes coursework in psychology, special education and counseling. While working towards this licensure, students may choose to incorporate these studies into a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS).

School Psychologist Licensure requirements are posted on the New Mexico Public Education Department web site. The WNMU Course Catalog offers a list of courses associated with this program. Interested students should work closely with their faculty advisor to create and execute a degree plan which meets all state requirements.
