To Ignite and Nurture

To ignite and to nurture a spirit in learning in both an educator and a student resembles the love of what people do with their lives. The educator must love what he/she does or his/her spirit will never ignite or nurture the idea a learning or teaching. The student must also love learning or his/her spirit will never ignite or feel the nurture that learning can bring. The student and the educator must work together in order to accomplish this feeling of excitement and caring.

The educator must love his/her job. The educator is the one who must make learning interesting and exciting for the students. The students on the other hand must allow the teacher to show his/her affection towards learning. The educator must always understand that kids function at many different levels. To ignite all the spirits, the educator must make it equal and interesting for each student. If one student feels a sense of not belonging, he/she may not feel the ignition and nurturing that learning should always bring. In order for learning to ignite and nurture the spirit of an educator and a student, the two must work together to make learning possible. The educator teaches because he/she loves it. The student on the other hand often goes to school because he/she has to. This is when the educator must try to ignite the student's spirit in learning and make school fun and interesting. The student must always be open to this kind of "love" the educator is trying to show by teaching.

To ignite and to nurture a spirit through learning is something that anyone can do, not only a student or an educator. This ignition and nurture comes when someone has love for something. In the educator's case, he/she must love to teach and learn. In the student's case, he/she must also love to learn as well as teach. Anyone can teach someone something new, it doesn't matter what age the educator. To ignite or nurture a spirit, the educator and the student must always be open to the "love" of learning that the two can teach each other.
