Practice Experience :

I moved to Silver City after 25 years in the south suburbs of Chicago in August of 2007 to teach Social Work at WNMU. In Chicago-land I had worked as a social worker at a public therapeutic day school for severely emotionally disturbed adolescents serving as the program's clinical director. I also had a part-time private practice and was the executive director of a small family service agency.
I earned my MSSW from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, with a concentration in Administration and Planning. I grew up in Michigan where I taught 5th grade for three years. I was born on the banks of the Rio Grande River in McAllen, Texas.
