Interest-Free Monthly Payment Plan
A student may take advantage of the installment payment plan option for a $25 non-refundable fee. Students enrolled in one or more credit hours may be eligible.
High school students taking classes as concurrent or dual students do not qualify for the payment plan option. Please see the section for concurrent students in the schedule for more information.
Waivers granting in-state tuition prices, housing and meal plan credits awarded to housing staff, and other institution-awarded waivers do NOT qualify as a financial commitment by the student.
All charges at WNMU will be included in the installment plan with the following exceptions: books, graduation fees, NEA insurance dues, most testing fees, or transcripts.
Spring 2013 schedule
Beginning with pre-registration through January 16th, a 10% down payment plus a $25 non-refundable payment plan fee will be required. The remaining balance will be divided into four equal installments as follows:
February 15th 25%
March 15th 25%
April 15th 25%
May 15th 25%
Summer 2013 schedule (Dates are subject to change)
Payment option 1 (May 20 through August 6)

Beginning with pre-registration through August 23rd, a 10% down payment plus a $25 non-refundable payment plan fee will be required. The remaining balance will be divided into four equal installments as follows:

An example for students with partial financial aid (fall-spring terms):
If your account balance is $2,500 and you have a $500 scholarship, the following provides a breakdown of how the $500 will be allocated.
Balance Due: $2,500
10% down payment is $200, plus the $ 25 setup fee
Paid w/financial aid @ the time of enrollment = $ 225
Remaining Balance Due........................$ 2,275
1st payment due....................................$ 218.75
2nd payment due...................................$ 443.75
3rd payment due....................................$ 443.75
4th payment due....................................$ 443.75
Note: If you are receiving financial aid and your current payment plan shows that a payment is not scheduled until October, November or December (for fall plans) or March, April or May (for spring plans) - it is highly recommended that you make a payment earlier than scheduled so you are not financially burdened by the larger payments toward the end of the semester. For example: if you have a scheduled payment for $1,000 due only on November 15th and December 15th, we recommend that you make an equal payment of $250 in September, October, November and December. The payment plan does NOT do this for you automatically.
If any changes occur on your account after payment arrangements have been made, the plan amounts will be updated. Notification of these changes will be communicated through your Mustang Express e-mail address. It is important to monitor this e-mail account regularly to ensure that you are receiving the important notifications.
To qualify for the payment plan, mandatory scheduled payments will be required. Automatic deductions will be processed from the account you set up during enrollment.
Monthly payment notifications will be sent to the student’s Mustang Express e-mail address. If the balance is not paid by the final installment plan date the student’s account will be assessed a penalty of $50.
