“Foreign Policy” class and Instructor Mike Lavelle’s “Political Policy” class will participate in a campaign issue forum on Monday, Nov. 1, at the WNMU Student Memorial Center meeting room beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Three panels each consisting of three members will discuss such issues as U.S. foreign policy, abortion, stem cell research, just war theory, and compare the presidential candidates military records.
The public is invited to attend. The first hour will feature the panel discussion and continue with questions from the audience.
The issues forum is an objective, research analysis by the students.
“It is a non-partisan effort designed to promote voter awareness,” said Lavelle. “The forum will be strictly informative; we are not trying to convince anyone how to cast their vote.”
