SILVER CITY--The offices of Western New Mexico University will be closed Dec. 22 - Jan. 4. The J. Cloyd Miller Library and WNMU Museum will also be closed during that time period. Regular office hours for the University will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 5.
The WNMU Bookstore will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23, and Friday, Dec. 24. The bookstore will be open at reduced hours Monday through Thursday Dec. 27  Dec. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be closed on Friday, Dec. 31. The Bookstore will resume regular hours on Jan. 3, 2005.
The WNMU swimming pool will have the following schedule Dec. 20 through Dec. 30: Lap swim from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday; senior swim from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; open swim from 3 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. Monday through Friday; and lap swim from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and family swim from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The pool will be closed Dec. 24  26 and Dec. 31  Jan. 2.
Spring 2005 semester classes begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 10. Senior citizens who are at least 65 years of age and a New Mexico resident may enroll in classes for audit or for a grade at $5 per credit hour. The registration and technology fees have been waived for senior citizens enrolling in classes for the Spring 2005 semester. For more information, contact the Admissions Office at 538-6106.
