SILVER CITY—The Western New Mexico University Extended University Office is offering an 8-week course in Taijiquan (Tai-Chi Chuan), Breath of the Internal, beginning Sept. 6 through Oct 25. The class will meet on Tuesdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Brancheau P.E. Complex Dance Studio.

The class will be taught by Frank Juszczyk. Cost for this course is $80.

An introduction to both Neidan (internal) and Weidan (external) Qigong forms through standing and moving practice. Deep breathing techniques and the circulation of Qi (Chi) through the Governing, Conception, and Thrusting channels of the body will be offered as well as techniques of centering, grounding and rooting.
