SILVER CITY—The
Western New Mexico University Extended University Office will be offering a
Water Conditioning Class beginning Sept. 7 through Nov. 28, 2005, Mondays and
Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The
cost is $60 per person.
Training is by a
certified lifeguard and water safety instructor, Justin Giacoletti.
“This class will be
a class to make the body fit. It will
provide the student with a good cardio workout and a good routine to create
lean muscle mass,” said Giacoletti.
Participants must be
above a level III swimmer (front crawl, back crawl and breast stroke). The class includes swimming laps and
emphasizes a variety of exercises to obtain the figure desired. This class is for participants 8 years of age
through 20 years of age.
