SILVER CITY—The Western New Mexico University Police Academy is offering a pre-conditioning class for individuals interested in applying for the upcoming Police Academy set to begin in the spring.

The pre-conditioning class is highly recommended for individuals interested in applying for the academy. The one credit hour class begins on Oct. 10.

Applications are being accepted for the 2006 Police Academy. Space is limited. Contact Police Academy Director Steve Chavez at (505) 538-6266 for additional information.
