SILVER CITY--The offices of Western New Mexico University will be closed Dec. 14 - Jan. 2. The J. Cloyd Miller Library and WNMU Museum will also be closed during that time period. Regular office hours for the University will resume on Tuesday, Jan 3.

The WNMU Bookstore will remain open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Dec. 21. The Bookstore will be closed beginning Thursday, Dec. 22. The Bookstore will resume regular hours in January. For additional information on the Bookstore hours, please call 538-6123.

The WNMU swimming pool will have the following schedule Dec. 14, 2005 through Jan. 2, 2006: Monday, Wednesday and Friday lap swim from 2 p.m. from 3 p.m. and open swim from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

University offices will be closed from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, and on Friday, Jan. 6, from 8 a.m. to noon so faculty and staff may participate in the annual Assessment Convocation. The WNMU Museum will remain open during the times of the convocation.

All student service offices will be open until 6 p.m. on Jan. 9, 10, 11 and 12. The Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Jan. 9 and 10, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 11 and 12, and on Jan. 13 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Spring 2006 semester classes begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
