SILVER CITY- The high honors and the honors listing for students at Western New Mexico University have been released for the 2005 fall semester.

            To be recognized for honors, baccalaureate and associate degree seeking students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours for the semester and have earned a grade point average in the top 15 percent. Of these students, the top five percent are awarded high honors status. The remaining ten percent are awarded honors status.

            For the fall 2005 semester, the students with a minimum of 3.81 GPA were selected for the honors recognition and students with at least a 4.0 GPA were recognized for high honors.

            Earning high honors from Silver City were Rebecca Anderson, Annette Baldwin, Jaclyn Bartlett, Rachel Benavidez, Christopher Billings, Janie Bowser, Tasha Cooper, Kathryn Elms, Jamie Fischer,  Candise Forgue, Linda Glass, James Gose, Randy Grothues, Jaclyn Guillaume, Shawn Hall, Erin Joslin, Jeremy Kinter, Alexandra Kunkel, Staci Lane, Matthew Lara, Timothy Lewis, Michelle Lowry and Arminda Martinez.
