SILVER CITY—Pre-registration for the summer and fall 2006 semesters is now underway at Western New Mexico University.

“It is time to pre-register now for the upcoming summer and fall semesters,” said Deb Cosper-Hughs, Academic Support Center counselor.  “Students are able to avoid frustration caused by closed classes, long lines, and limited class offerings by pre-registering now.” 

The WNMU Web site features schedules and other important information regarding registration.  The Web site address is www.wnmu.edu.  Printed schedules are available on campus and at various locations around town.

For more information, stop by the Academic Support Center located in the Juan Chacon Building or call 538-6400.  If you are planning to attend Western for the first time, please contact the Admissions Office at 538-6106 or stop by the office in Castorena Hall.
