Dancing with the Stars

SILVER CITY--Alumni, staff and faculty of WNMU, along with community members will be “Dancing with the Stars” at the Great Race Talent Show on Thursday, April 20, in the Fine Arts Center Theatre beginning at 7 p.m.
Couples will be competing for winner and runner-up and will compete for the championship at the Homecoming 2006 talent show.
Couples dancing are Dr. Chris Farren, WNMU Vice President of Student Affairs and Arlene Schadel from GeoCare and 1st NM Bank; Christy Miller, WNMU Alumni Director and Louie Ortega, a student at Western; WNMU Professor Magdaleno Manzanarez and Lilia Medeguari, a WNMU student; WNMU Cross-Country coach Brent Hansen and Barbara Counts; Victor Carbajal, WNMU Student Government President and Suzie Bruchhauser, WNMU Student Government Vice-President.
The six university teams competing in the Great Race will each show off some of their talent as part of the competition for the race. The talent show is free of charge. The public is encouraged to attend.
