SILVER CITY--Registration for the second summer session swimming lessons offered through the Western New Mexico University Extended University, June 19-30, is ongoing.  There will be testing for those who do not have a Red Cross card or certificate on June 9 from 3 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. at the WNMU pool located in the Brancheau PE Complex.

 The deadline to register for the June 19-30 session will be June 16 at noon.  There will be no exceptions after the deadline. The next sessions are scheduled on July 10-21 and July 23-August 4. 

The cost of the swimming lessons is $40 per student for 30-minute sessions Mondays through Fridays. Infant Preschool sessions will be from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Level I through Level VII sessions will be between 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

The ages for Infant Preschool level is from 6 months to 3-1/2 years of age.

Those students that have had swim lessons before and have their Red Cross card may register at anytime at the Extended University Office located in Bowden Hall Room 234 or call 538-6149 for further information.
