SILVER CITY--You won't believe how easy it is for you to achieve fabulous walls.  A professional faux painter will share her shortcuts and secrets in the hands-on class “A Fast & Easy Twist on Walls” offered through the Western New Mexico University Extended University.

It does not take a lot of work to beautify a wall.  It just takes a twist of the wrist and tricks of the trade your instructor will share.  Have you ever wanted professional looking faux-painted walls but couldn't afford to have it done? Well, now's the time to do it yourself, set aside Monday, July 17, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on your calendar. The class will meet in the Chino Building, Room 102. Participants are asked to come dressed to paint for hands-on learning.

Linda Coffman is the instructor of this very popular class.  Mrs. Coffman has been in the wallpapering and faux-painting business for over 15 years.  Her work is featured in businesses, hotels, restaurants, bed and breakfasts and fine homes throughout the Twin Cities area.

The cost for this workshop is $25 per person plus a materials fee of $27 plus tax for the "Twist On Walls Kit".  The materials fee must be paid to the instructor at the first class meeting. Students may register at the Extended University office located in Bowden Hall Room 234 or call 538-6149.
