SILVER CITY--A Basic Spanish course will be offered through the Western New Mexico University Extended University Office beginning Sept. 12 through Oct. 12.

Yessica Naisbitt, the instructor for this course, has taught Spanish as a second language in Boscas de Toro, Panama.  Ms. Naisbitt uses a step-by-step method with a standard course containing grammar and vocabulary introduction along with the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking).

             The classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in

Light Hall Room 110.  The cost of the class is $100 per student.  Class size is limited to 10 people. Students may register at the Extended University Office located in Bowden Hall Room 234 or call 538-6149 for further information.
