SILVER CITY--A Basic Spanish course will be offered through the Western New Mexico University Extended University Office beginning Oct. 2 through Nov. 8. Yessica Naisbitt, the instructor for this course, has taught Spanish as a second language in Boscas de Toro, Panama.  Ms. Naisbitt uses a step-by-step method with a standard course containing grammar and vocabulary introduction along with the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking).

             The classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Light Hall Room 110.  The cost of the class is $100 per student. Class size is limited to ten people with a minimum of five students.  Interested individuals should  register as soon as possible at the WNMU Extended University Office located in Bowden Hall Room 234 or call 538-6149 for further information.
