SILVER CITY – The Expressive Arts Department along with the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Student Activities at Western New Mexico University are sponsoring the 21st Annual Day of the Dead celebration. Hosted by the McGray Gallery on the WNMU campus, the week long exhibit features shrines and pictures of past loved ones. Most of the artwork was put together by WNMU students. Pictured above are Kent Nelson and Arturo Monje who stop to look at the shrine dedicated to dead celebrities.
