CAPTION: The Western New Mexico University Fine Arts Center Theatre received help planting some new vegetation in the front of the building. Mark Cantrell’s third grade class from Jose Barrios Elementary School planted several different species of New Mexico plants. Before planting, Cantrell explained to his students that in 25 years, when they have children, they will bring them to the theater for an event and point to the garden that they planted.
