WNMU SWIMMING POOL CLOSED FOR REPAIRS
The WNMU Swimming Pool is expected to be closed through January 18, 2007 for repairs. The projects planned include the installation of a new pump-out pump, refurbishing and repainting the pool edging along the deck, repainting the pool deck, implementing the first phase of electrical upgrades, upgrading the lighting in the pool pump house, and an extensive cleaning of the locker room areas. If the repairs are competed prior to Jan. 18, the facility will reopen to the public sooner. An answering machine will be updated regularly providing the status of the repairs and the projected pool reopening date. The phone number for the pool updates is 538-6210.
