SILVER CITY—Spring 2006 Semester classes at Western New Mexico University begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11.  All student service offices will be open until 6 p.m. through Jan. 12 to accommodate working students.

The Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan.11 and 12, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 13.  

Refund checks will be issued in the Brancheau P.E. Complex from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Jan. 11, for students who have completed financial arrangements by noon on Monday, Jan. 9.  After 12 p.m., refund checks will be available in the Business Office.  The second disbursement of refund checks will be on Friday, Jan. 20, in the Business Office for all students who complete financial arrangements after 12 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, through Wednesday, January 18.  Anyone completing registration after these dates will follow the normal refund schedule.

Late fees begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17.  The late registration fee is $50.  Students who have not made financial arrangements by Friday, Jan. 27, are subject to be disenrolled.
